Matthew Warchus directs this adaptation of the award-winning musical based on the book by Roald Dahl, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin. Matilda Wormwood (Alisha Weir) is extraordinarily bright and gifted but has to contend with uncaring parents as well as a cruel and terrifying new headteacher in Miss Trunchbull (Emma Thompson). Thankfully she finds a friend in kind teacher Miss Honey (Lashana Lynch) and decides it's time for things to change. Andrea Riseborough, Stephen Graham and Sindhu Vee also star.
