Japanese psychedelic anime in which a young outcast named Nishi (voice of Kôji Imada) has a chance encounter with his childhood sweetheart Myon (Sayaka Maeda) and attempts to win her affections once more. When he discovers that she is embroiled in trouble with the Yakuza, he tries to save her from their clutches and ends up getting killed. Finding himself in a form of limbo, he fights his way back to the land of the living so that they can find a way to safety together.
