This book presents the concepts of translation strategies and translation procedures .It is divided into four chapters .Chapter one handles decision making in translation as the most important step in the process of translation. Then ,in chapter two ,the variables that should be taken into consideration in decision making are briefly discussed. Finally , the concepts of translation strategies and translation procedures are expansively studied with examples form English-Arabic translation in chapter three and four .
