The anesthesia of children is an event that torments the family and the surgical team a lot because most of the cardiac arrests in children are attributed to the anesthesia, In DR Congo, infant mortality is estimated at 158 . In the retrospective and descriptive study done at Heal Africa hospital a 2018, on the analysis of 544 medical records children represent 22.68% and the intraoperative mortality rate is 18%. For an easy management of children, we have just put within the reach of providers in this field a simple protocol oriented on practical actions such as the pre-anaesthetic visit oriented towards the state of the noble organs, practical and strict observance of safety measures, and a thoughtful choice of drugs.The combination of drugs such as atropine, Dexamethasone, Paracetamole, Halothane, suxamethonium, Cisatracurium, and a good adaptation of fluids have produced better results in anaesthesia of children in our resource-limited settings.
