Dark Feminine: Poetry, prose & the in-between
A collection of poetry and prose that reflects a decades-long journey into Jung's dark feminine. This collection reflects the insights and healing that occur when one is able to muster the courage to embark on a Jungian journey bolstered by a deeply held desire to achieve individuation and self-realization.
Robin Throne has completed writer residencies at Wolff Cottage, the Writers' Colony at Dairy Hollow, and the Writer's Well, and is the recipient of the fourth David R. Collins literary achievement award from the Midwest Writing Center, the third fiction chapbook prize from Gambling the Aisle, and a literary fiction award from the Writer's Well for her debut novel, Her Kind. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in Minnesota Poetry Review, Trampset, The New Poet Journal, Tipton Poetry Journal, and Split Lip Magazine, among others. She is the author of The Cotton Breath, an allegorical novella (Anaphora Literary Press, 2019) and Her Kind, a novel (918studio press, 2018).
